PPM Property Management Services was born after its founder spent years working inside traditional letting agencies and saw first hand just how much landlords were quietly paying in fees that added little real value: admin charges, renewal fees, and mark ups that rarely reflected the actual cost of the work being done. Seeing that happen, again and again, was all the motivation needed to build something better.
PPM was built to do the same job properly, minus the extras. It's an online first agency that handles tenant find, rent collection, and full management through one clear, published rate, with everything from referencing to compliance reminders running through a simple digital platform instead of a dusty filing cabinet. The result is a modern, refreshingly transparent way to manage a rental property, without any of the hidden costs landlords have quietly put up with for years.
PPM manages properties across London and Hertfordshire, with plans to expand further afield as the portfolio grows.
PPM is a member of the Property Redress Scheme (PRS), registers all tenant deposits with the Deposit Protection Service (DPS), and holds professional indemnity and public liability insurance. Full details of each are below.
UK law requires letting and managing agents to belong to a government approved redress scheme and protect every tenancy deposit in an approved scheme. PPM holds both, plus business insurance on top.
An independent, government approved complaints scheme for letting agents. If a dispute can’t be resolved directly with us, PRS provides free, independent resolution for landlords and tenants, and any decision they make is binding on PPM.
Every tenant deposit we hold is registered with the Deposit Protection Service (DPS) custodial scheme within 30 days of receipt, as required under the Housing Act 2004. The deposit sits with DPS, not with us.
Covers PPM against claims of professional negligence in the services we provide to landlords and tenants, including an added Ombudsman Awards extension. Covered up to £250,000.
Covers claims for death, injury or property damage to a third party arising from our business activities. Covered up to £1,000,000.
Letting agents handling rent above the regulatory threshold must be supervised under the Money Laundering Regulations 2017.
Because deposits sit with DPS rather than with PPM, they can’t be affected by anything that happens to our business, and are released strictly according to the scheme’s rules. If we ever get something wrong and can’t resolve it directly with you, PRS gives you a free, independent route to a binding decision at no cost. And our professional indemnity and public liability cover means there’s a real financial backstop in place if an error on our part causes you a loss.
